What is the most reliable way or website to get a background check as a civilian in Texas?

In a few weeks I am applying for a Government job which requires a thorough background check.

There are alot of websites that offer background checks, but I don’t know if any of them are reliable and which are the best at finding everything possible.

If anyone has any personal knowledge of background checks in Texas and can help at all I would appreciate it.

How long does background check take for Corrections Officer after interview?

I am in the hiring process with a certified salary in the system. I’m waiting to hear back from them regarding psychology exam/ physical test date if background comes back approved to them. How long does it take to hear from them during back ground check? It’s been 4 months! Could it be my background is primarily from another state? I moved to this location and only lived here for a few months at the time of interview. Is it going to take longer because of that? What do they look for in this step?

How extensive is the background check for corrections officers in New Mexico?

What happens if you fail a background check while trying to purchase a firearm?

A previously asked question got me to wondering what exactly happens if a person fails the background check while trying to purchase a firearm. Maybe they were a felon, adjudicated as mentally defective or the system found an old domestic voilence charge in their past.

Will the authorities be called out to investigate or does the application just get torn up as the buyer is booted out of the store?

How long does it take to run a background check for employment?

i applied to a job as a security guard with allied barton in person. I talked to the people there and they said Monday they’d start reviewing the applications (Today). How long does it take to run a background check before they’d call to set up an interview if i were to get that far? or would they not do one until i was given an interview? On the application it stated i gave consent for them to check my background for employment purposes.
