How long does a Choicepoint background check for Lowes take on average?

I am waiting on a background check to come back, and have learned that the Lowes uses Choicepoint for its pre-employment screening. They supposedly started the process the Friday before last. Am I lost in limbo here??? From everything I’ve read, they should already have the info in databases and it shouldn’t take this long. Any ideas?

How does the background check work while your in DEP for army?
